FJS Associates, Ltd is a full service consulting firm specializing in the development of affordable housing.   The company began in 1993 and has assisted non-profit housing developers, local housing authorities, municipalities, RI Housing and for profit companies in the creation and preservation of many housing units for low and moderate income families. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

FJS provides a full range of services including assisting in team selection, project planning, budget preparation, project coordination, securing predevelopment funding, securing permanent funding, construction administration and completion.  These services can be specifically tailored to compliment specific project requirements.

  

Developments have included rental apartments, transitional units, condominiums, single-family homes, historic conversions, new construction, rehabilitation of existing buildings and land subdivisions. FJS has been successful in securing all available sources of funding including RI Housing, RI Housing Resource Commission, Community Development Block Grant, US Department of HUD, Federal Home Loan Bank, loans from financial institutions, and Private Foundations.
