Through the Rhode Island Mobile Home Statute, the residents were able to purchase the park as a cooperative and preserve the affordability in perpetuity. Similar projects were completed in Coventry, Rhode Island.Ramblewood (200 units) and Mapleroot (186 units) with a total development cost of $7.5 million.  Both projects were completed in winter of 2003.
